Chinese New Year In Bangkok: The Instagram Edition

Yesterday marked the first day of Chinese New Year and the official start to the Year of the Monkey.

Naturally, Bangkok has been celebrating in style with parading dragons, reams upon reams of lanterns, red envelopes and ever more pungent traditional feasts.

While Yaowarat in Chinatown has inevitably been the centrepiece of the festivities, New Year celebrations have been inescapable all over the city, from inner Sukhumvit out to the suburbs.
