What Happens When Khon Farang Attempts A Selfie…

It’s well known that much of Southeast Asia are well versed in taking the perfect selfie.

The UK, however? Not so much.

Exhibit A:

The above unidentified woman found herself with a bloodied face and a broken arm after attempting to take a selfie in front of huge waves in Newquay, Cornwall, reports The Sun

Struck by Storm Imogen, seafronts around the UK are experiencing giant, choppy waves. Not ideal conditions for a selfie, you’d think.

You’d be right.

According to onlookers, a huge wall of water hit the woman and her male companion, picking her up and slamming her into some boats around 50 feet away, leaving her with possible head injuries. The man was similarly catapulted into railings as they naively attempted to capture the scene.

Pictures were captured of the woman looking somewhat dazed and confused as she was lead away from the scene, helped by a group of Royal National Lifeboat Institution volunteers. She was treated by an off-duty paramedic before being taken to hospital by ambulance.

She probably won’t be taking another selfie any time soon…
