After an extensive US$112 million re-build, Siam Discovery is now ready to be unveiled to the public.
The grand opening – expected to cost an additional US$8.5 million – will be held on 28th May 2016 for Thailand’s largest lifestyle specialty store.
Owned and operated by Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., who also own Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, Paradise Park and ICONSIAM in a joint venture, Siam Discovery is the latest showpiece for Bangkok as the retail hub of the AEC and a preferred spot for shoppers the world over.
Also described as the “biggest arena of lifestyle experiments,” Siam Discovery will be home to the first Thailand rollout of many famous brands and will be abundant in interactive activities and surprise experiences created with the latest technology.
This tech will also enable personalised experiences and communications for each and every customer.
Products will be grouped together under single universal concepts rather than by brands. The categories include:

“The new Siam Discovery introduces to Thailand a new retail concept that is spread across 40,000 square metres and which we expect will double our sales per square metre as well as reinforce our reputation as a thought-leader in Thailand’s retail sector capable of creating unprecedented destinations that compete with the best of the world,” commented Mr Charnchai Cherdchuqongthanakorn, senior executive vice president of retail business development at Siam Piwat.
Siam Discovery will also enjoy over 2,500 square metres of dining outlets, including some world famous brands.
