The Bangkok Planetarium is re-opening its doors at the National Science Centre in Ekkamai on 5 January 2016, reports Coconuts Bangkok.
It’s been closed for 8 months and has reportedly undergone a whopping ฿92 million (USD2.6 million) refurbishment.
Visitors will reap the benefits of interior design inspired by the Aurora Galaxy as well as digital upgrades like HD 360-degree visuals, 5.1 surround sound and a 4k-resolution Digistar 5 digital theatre system, according to Khaosod English.
Opening ceremony: 5 January 2016
Admission: Free for all until 9 January 2016, thereafter ฿20 for students and ฿30 for adults.
Daily opening: Tuesday – Sunday, 08.30 – 16:30
Where: National Science Centre for Education, BTS Ekkamai (Exit 2)
