Calling all Bangkok dog owners!
Unleashed Bangkok are hosting a fundraising event this February for Thai Street Paws — a soi dog rescue operation.
Titled ‘Paint and Paws’, the event promises to help set free both you and your dog’s creativity as you paint on canvas together.

The event will be held on Sunday 18 February from 3 to 7 pm at Unleashed Bangkok — part of the Thonglor Pet City complex on Phet Phraram Road, just off Rama IX.
Tickets are 1,000 baht per dog/canvas, which includes the cost of your paints and a welcome drink for owners.
A whopping 40% of the proceeds will be donated to the very worthy Thai Street Paws — a soi dog rescue operating down in Songkhla.
Run by Tamara Johnston, an Australian teacher, Thai Street Paws cares for around 120 dogs — both in foster home and on the streets. Tamara provides them with food, care, medicine, veterinary attention, sterilisation and more. She also helps to arrange foster care and adoptions to the best homes overseas.
Some of the dogs she rescues require plenty of nurturing back to health — dealing with everything from parvovirus, car accidents and cancers, to human inflicted injuries and even poisoning.

Vet expenses — not to mention dog food and the cost of running a foster home — quickly snowball in the dog rescue business and all donations, no matter how small, are always appreciated.
This Paint and Paws event is hoping to raise some much needed funds for Thai Street Paws and the street dogs of Songkhla — please do buy a ticket if you fancy a day of relaxing, drinking, eating, socialising and painting with your dog!
The event is hosted by Unleashed BKK — a doggy daycare and boarding centre in Thonglor Pet City — and will take place in the beautiful, secure garden next door.

Bring yourself and your pup down for the afternoon for some creative fun in the sun, meeting new friends and socializing with lots of different dogs.
You’ll receive a welcome drink as part of the ticket price, and food and drink will also be available to buy on the day from the brilliant local restaurants too.
