Would You Pay ฿500,000 per square metre to live in Sukhumvit Luxury?

Sukhumvit is officially the place to be if you’re looking for luxury property.

A new report from Knight Frank has found that 32 percent of Bangkok’s super prime condos are found on Sukhumvit – that’s the largest share of ultra-luxury property in any of Bangkok’s neighbourhoods.

So long, Silom!

9 super prime condo projects were launched in Bangkok during the first 6 months of 2015, including Diplomat 39 in Phrom Phong and Q Sukhumvit in Nana.

The average selling price for Bangkok’s highest level of luxury is ‎฿329,544 per square metre and is expected to rise to an eye-watering ‎฿500,000 per square metre by the end of the year.

Talk about a dent in the wallet.

The nationalities splashing out are predominantly Thai, Hong Kong Chinese, Singaporeans and Taiwanese.

I guess no one told the Khon Farang where the party’s at….
