Sukhumvit Soi 13

Running almost all the way down to the Khlong San Saeb, it’s fair to say that Sukhumvit Soi 13 is a long street.

It’s one of the major thoroughfares of the Nana neighbourhood, home to a variety of hotels and bars, as well as the huge Trendy office building.

You can also access Soi 11 and Soi 15 via its subsois, rather than having to go all the way up to Sukhumvit.

The Sportsman

Just like it sounds, The Sportsman is a two-storey sports bar found at the start of Sukhumvit Soi 13 within the Trendy Building complex.

They’ve got plenty of screens and tables, as well as a number of pool tables. There’s also a large menu with Thai and Western classics.

The luxury, international hotel chain have a branch here, around half way down Soi 15. Don’t worry – there’s a complimentary tuk tuk shuttle to take you back and forth to Sukhumvit.

Facilities include a rooftop infinity pool, sun deck, whirlpool tub, fitness centre and massage, and a comprehensive business centre. There’s also free WiFi throughout the hotel.

Sri Ganesh

Restaurant

Although unassuming to look at, Sri Ganesh is many people’s favourite Indian restaurant in Bangkok, serving up vegetarian cuisine from South India.

It’s pretty popular with a buzzing atmosphere and good value for money.

Paul’s Antiques

Retail

Selling furniture, art, lighting, restorations and custom made items, Paul’s Antiques is a Sukhumvit 13 treasure, favoured by diplomats, expats and collectors for over 20 years.

They originally specialised in colonial Burmese teak furniture but have since expanded to items from Thailand and Asia at large. Paul’s also has an in-house workshop for refinishing and repairs.

Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit

Hotel

Technically located between Sois 13 and 15, the Sofitel Sukhumvit is one of Bangkok’s most luxurious hotels with 5 different types of room available, a spa, gym, beauty salon and swimming pool.

The hotel is also famous for its bars and restaurants, including the ground level Le Macaron, and the rooftop L’Appart — one of Bangkok’s favourite French restaurants.

IGLU

Company Relocation and Software Development

Operating out of the Trendy Building, IGLU is a company that help to relocate teams and projects working within tech and the digital sphere to Thailand.

They also provide software development and related services.

Margarita Storm

Restaurant

A Mexican restaurant powered by Sunrise Tacos on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 13. There’s a small wooden verandah on the front of it where you’ll often spot tourists and expats enjoying a Tequila while watching the world go by on the Sukhumvit Road.

They also show sports across a number of TV screens.
