Connecting to both Soi 27 and Soi 31, Sukhumvit Soi 29 is a short alleyway in Phrom Phong. A group of motorcycle taxi drivers tend to congregate her at the corner with the main road.

MahaNaga is a Thai restaurant and bar that’s set a little bit back from the road on Sukhumvit Soi 29. It’s an upscale restaurant with beautiful interior design and a carefully cultivated menu. The tables of the restaurant overlook a beautiful garden courtyard for a bit of added pizzazz.
As well as an a la carte menu, they have special set dinner menus that include wine and a number of courses. Street food, this is not! There’s also a vegetarian menu available.
This is a small budget hotel with five different types of room available, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, breakfast cafe, coffee shop and co-working space.
An authentic Brazilian steakhouse tucked around halfway down Sukhumvit Soi 29. They offer up a huge premium Churrasco Buffet — complete with 22 options — as well as a more moderate buffet option too. ‘Come 4 Pay 3’ and complimentary bottles of wine are regularly on offer too.
A wine cellar in situ also ensures a diverse array of quality wines available to diners.
The Hotel Mermaid is a popular mid-range hotel found on Soi 29. It’s also home to the renowned Captain’s Pub.
