Joining up with Soi 5, Sukhumvit Soi 7 is another small and reasonably quiet soi in Nana that’s got a few bars and hotels lining the streets.
There’s a tailor on the corner where it meets the Sukhumvit Road, and there’s always a cluster of tuk tuks and motorbike taxis hawking for customers too.
It’s very close to one of the Nana BTS station entrances, the other side of which is another small soi: Sukhumvit 7/1. The Pickled Liver British pub, Downunder Bar & Grill and a couple of guesthouses have their home here. It also used to be home to the notorious Dr BJ’s Salon, which has recently closed.

An art gallery cum store which sells work created by local Thai and international artists. They’ve been in business since 1968, and can be found between sois 7 & 9.

New Bukhara’s Indian Restaurant

A very good Indian restaurant on the corner of Sukhumvit and Soi 7 with excellent service. It can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights, particularly as you can’t book, but you should have no problem finding a table anyhow.
It gets excellent reviews for the food quality and portion size.
Beer Garden

This outdoor bar area is usually open until around 2am but also gets busy during the day. There’s a nice ambience, with lots of friendly people and some good music too. Although there’s no air-con, the excellent ventilation means that it doesn’t get too hot.
There are plenty of screens to watch sport and a large menu with Thai and Western food.
Mac Boutique Suites

Situated around half way down Sukhumvit Soi 7 is the Mac Boutique Suites hotel, where rooms start from 1,725 baht a night. Accommodation varies from 37 square metre studios to a 91 square metre President Suite.
There’s no swimming pool or gym but there is a restaurant and bar offering all-day dining.
