Running parallel to Soi 8 is Sukhumvit Soi 30; another short soi in the Phrom Phong neighbourhood.
It’s a pretty quiet street that’s home to a couple of hotels and office buildings. Next door is Sukhumvit Soi 30/1, location of the Filipino Embassy, and the permanent home of the Daniel Thaiger burger van. Best burgers in Bangkok!
Next door to Soi 30/1, on the other side of the embassy, is the tiny Soi 32 — which marks the end of Phrom Phong before it cuts away to Thonglor.

This is a small budget hotel tucked away from the madness of the Sukhumvit Road that just happens to have an iconic name. Rooms have air-con, a private bathroom and free WiFi while a 24-hour front desk allows you to check in and out whenever — you can even drop by and pay in cash for your room if you haven’t booked in advance.
There are three room types available although all are comparatively quite small.

There’s free WiFi in all rooms, a games room and a shared kitchen. Bicycle rental is also available. Room rates start from 450 baht a night, although discounts are available in their soft opening.
