Also known as Setthabut Alley, Sukhumvit Soi 61 lies next door to the behemoth of Soi Ekkamai and has plenty going on in its own right.
Ekkamai is a trendy area, particularly popular with younger expats, foodies and night owls. Restaurants abound, as well as quirky bars and other late night drinking spots. There’s a few excellent cafes and coffee shops in this neighbourhood too.

Teppen is a Japanese restaurant found around halfway down Sukhumvit Soi 61 near the Park Lane Mall. It has an open kitchen and is an Izakaya (a casual gastropub style dining experience) restaurant. You’ll need to take your shoes off before you sit down!
Skewered barbecue meats are the major draw here, and you’ll see plenty of Japanese businessmen tucking into a few rounds of Asahi too.
Major Sukhumvit

Major Sukhumvit, on the corner of Sukhumvit Road, is home to a Major Cineplex, bowling alley and a number of restaurant and retail outlets. Food outlets include the ever-popular Sizzler, KFC, McDonalds, MK and other such establishments.

Shugaa is a dessert restaurant towards the end of Sukhumvit Soi 61 that serves up deliciously gluttonous treats and a few savoury bites too — check out the Tom Yum Croissant!

This is a coffee shop cum restaurant cum live music venue in the midway of Soi 61. You should check out their incredible coffee shake menu for a new caffeine experience with added caramel and vanilla ice cream.
They also serve up innovative craft cocktails and delicious European style dishes and desserts.

Quaint is a quirky, vintage style restaurant that serves up cracking food, delicious drinks and even live music. It’s set over three storeys and they have an in-house mixologist to boot.
